The one room in this house that has somehow evaded a room tour so far is our cloakroom. We’ve recently given it a refresh and I love how it’s turned out so finally here is a little tour of it!
This room is obviously really small so I used lots of white and added a huge mirror to make the room appear bigger and brighter – I’ve also used the large mirror technique in our family bathroom so knew this would work a treat!
The walls in here are pure brilliant white and the wall tiles were from B&Q, unfortunately not sold anymore.
The flooring in here is tile effect vinyl with subtle sparkle (we previously had Laura Ashley floor tiles which looked awful constantly as the material stained easily and attracted dust constantly!). We sprayed the floor and vinyl with vinyl spray and covered them up – it was such an easy DIY fix and looks so effective!

I always get asked about the blind in here (they’re the same in all my bathrooms), they were from Next years ago and aren’t sold anymore but Dunelm do a very similar item.

The orchid is also from Next years ago, they’ve changed the pot slightly since then but still do them – I’m sure you all know how much of a fan of artificial flowers I am!

The large mirror was made to measure by Mirror Fit and we used mirror glue from the same company to stick it to the wall. This mirror is 6mm thick, rough cut edges and not foil backed.

The sink in here was recently replaced too as our last one didn’t last long at all! It’s a great size for a cloakroom sink and I love the double doors which are unusual for smaller sinks.

I’ve also added a small glass shelf here to hold the soap and some pretties!

A square shaped towel holder adds to the clean lines in this room and keeps the towel looking neat (we had a round one before that scrunched it up!)

The towel itself is from Asda with small sparkle details. They do similar still.
We’ve also bought our first piece of modern art that has gone in this room – it’s got crystals and sparkle all over it so catches the light and is a fabulous focal piece!

The pendant light fitting in here is the infamous venetian style from Next.

We also had an unsightly pipe going across this space (you can just about see it in the above photos) so we cut a kitchen cupboard side panel in two to create a box for it!

I love how it’s all finally come together!
Lots of love
