Christmas has been so busy this year that I’ve hardly had time to sit and document it all, so better late than never here is a run down of how we decorated for Christmas this year!

I’ve already shared our big lounge tree with a full step-by-step decorating guide here – Decorating a Flocked Tree. The main tree is always my favourite piece of decor each year!

This huge tree came from Very but sold out almost immediately – hopefully they’ll bring it back next year as it’s an incredible tree for the price!

The star lights and Noel cushions from last year made a reappearance – love both of these pieces! They were also joined by stag cushions this year too.

The garland was from Very this year to match the tree better and I used the gold decorations from my old wreath to decorate it with.

The coffee table has a piece of white fur fabric (the same as under the tree) to create a snow like base for tree shaped candles, reindeer tealights and a fairy castle light.

The hallway was decorated similarly to last year but with a new tree and wreath – details of these can be found on a previous blog post here.

The garland is the same from last year but flocked using this method here.

The same garlands (also flocked with the above technique) were used along the stairs.

We attach these using white cable ties that we can just cut off each year.

The landing has an arrangement of tree decorations to create a winter wonderland look – a mixture of white and clear trees that light up.
