I’ve been searching high and low for these crystal lid storage jars from the former BHS with no success, so finally I decided I could use my Aldi candle jar when finished and stick a crystal on it myself – love how it turned out!

They’re so simple to do!

I used:

Candle Jar (I used a finished Aldi candle but any with a lid would do)

Drill

Crystal Knob – Link

Kitchen Roll

Method

When your candle is burnt down to the bottom, use kitchen roll to soak up the watery wax. Then remove the leftover wax – with the Aldi candle I scooped it out with a blunt knife just after I’d burnt it down so it was still warm but you can add hot water or put in the freezer.

Then use kitchen roll to wipe the inside clean.

This candle had a sticker on the outside which just peeled off.

Measure the centre of the lid and use a drill to make a small hole in the middle.

Screw the crystal knob on the top and use as desired! I’m using mine in my dressing room for cotton wool and cotton pads.

Lots of Love
