Asda Now the Christmas decorations have come down it was feeling very bare around here, so of course I had to get some new home accessories! Home accessory shopping is my favourite kind of shopping!
I started with the upstairs hallway – the glass candlesticks and flowers were added to replace the garland, as well as hanging hearts on the bannisters (3 in total at each end post).
Glass Candesticks – Asda – £3 each

This gorgeous light box frame will replace my Christmas with the Rackleys one for year round display – I love these boxes so much, the text is foil so reflects light around and I love anything that lights up!

Mr Rackley came back with this lovely lantern tonight – I’m still trying to decide if I want another on the other side so will probably get it to try and then decide – yes I know I have a problem with having things symmetrical haha!

This stunning little occasional chair has replaced my Christmas tree – tomorrow I’m going to paint the legs to match the room, dark wood is just not for me! It’s made of a soft chenille/velvet type fabric and feels lovely!
UPDATE – The legs have been painted and match the room so much better now. I used a rust-oleum multi purpose paint in heirloom white from wilko – Link
UPDATE – I bought this lovely cream cushion for this chair which happened to perfectly match the painted legs 🙂 They no longer have cream ones left for now but here are some other colours:

I searched for hours looking for a personalised mug that wasn’t just a plain mug and finally came across this one – love the heart handle! It’s actually advertised as a wedding mug but I asked for it to be personalised to the above and they were brilliant!

This rose gold candle is my second order from MadeByYasmin and smells as good as it looks! I went for coconut and vanilla this time, which is so strong and sweet, even Mr Rackley commented on how good is smelt – result! My first one was a Christmas one in strudel and spice which smelt good enough to eat! They have lots of different styles and scents, looking forward to choosing my next one 🙂

As promised when I first published this post, here is the beautiful year round lights replacing my Christmas star lights! I loved having those star lights in the window over Christmas, it added a cosy glow to the room and made a beautiful feature of our big patio doors. I knew I had to find something else to put there and you may have already guessed I love anything with hearts on so these were perfect!
