My favourite room in the house has got to be my lounge! There’s just something about it that makes me feel calm, relaxed and cosy as soon as I sit down in it. Given the stresses of every day life a room like that is a god send!
As with the previous home tour posts, I’m going to talk you through where each part of this room is from..
Let’s start with the largest pieces that make up this room – the sofas! I love these sofas, they’re so comfy, I find it hard to move from them! They are the Freya collection from DFS in cream – 4 seater lounger, 3 seater and cuddle chair.

The main light and wall lights are from Next (the wall ones can be seen in the above photo or cover photo).

This wallpaper is gorgeous, it really makes the room! Adding this was the best decision we made! It shimmers and has very subtle glitter on it that sparkles from every angle 🙂

The other walls are painted in Crown paint (easy clean) in Flawless Fawn:

Another focal point of this room is this glass coffee table – The whole room was actually designed around this table as this was the first thing chosen when we moved in! (For anyone interested in how this is kept clean, I swear by e-cloths, the glass one in particular for this purpose – you can see my previous post about them here).

The exact seller has disappeared but here is a similar footstool:

I have two of these rugs next to each other, with a Dunelm rug holder underneath, to make it larger, the undermat is brilliant at holding it in place and not slipping:

Behind the table is my lovely new fireplace! This is called be modern isabelle with downlights and weighs an absolute TON, be warned!! The tealight holders a the top have tiny crystals in each letter and sparkle when lit (they look their best when dark).

Post on mounting the TV wirelessly can be found here.
The TV has LED strip lighting behind it (a how to post can be found here with links to products used).
This stunning star light is from IKEA of all places for a bargain £7! It technically wasn’t in the Christmas section, just in normal lights, so I’ve taken that to mean I can have it out all year 🙂

Coming on to the radiator cover, this is from the same place as my hallway ones and I they do a great job at making the radiator pretty! The main lamp is the glamour lamp from Next, but I actually found it in Choice outlet store and put a different lampshade on top, but I will link the Next one as the Choice one was chance!

These throws are perfect for chilly nights, they’re super soft and surprisingly warm! I have three of these thrown around the lounge ready for us or anyone that’s round to grab when wanted.

You may have worked out by now that I have a slight obsession with cushions, they make the room look dressed and so easy to change about!
The middle cushions I bought plain and added a diamante button from Home Bargains (for 99p) to the middle with a few stitches – the buttons are still there now in the wedding section!
Cushions (you might have to check store for these as they’re not online but they match the curtains) – Link
Mink Silk Cushions (another one that you might need to check store for – this colour isn’t currently online) – Link

Hidden at the back is this little set of glass nest tables that hold our broadband box, remotes and a few pretties (black thing underneath is part of the sound system). Ignore the ugly cables – we will get round to tidying those up soon!

Another glass table sits behind the sofa holding more pretty items and the house phone 🙂 I love glass items, they look so elegant and timeless! As I mentioned before e-cloths are the way to go with glass tables!

This mirror gets so many compliments from anyone that visits, it is definitely a statement piece!

Last but not least is this tripod floor lamp, again I replaced the lamp shade with the larger version of the Frea shade from Dunelm to match!
