This post is going to give you a little tour of my master bedroom and where the key items are from.
My bedroom is my own little sanctuary, I find the grey tones very relaxing and always look forward to getting into this comfy bed (I LOVE my sleep way too much!).
The silver throw at the end of the bed appears to be a different shade of grey/silver in nearly every photo I take but it’s lovely and soft!

To start with the bed itself is from an eBay seller and I would highly recommend it. It comes in almost any colour chenille you can think of, optional diamante buttons and is very sturdy. They also do free fabric samples if you can’t decide on a colour. The one in the picture is the white chenille.

My mattress – Ruby Orthopoedic mattress with 1000 pocket sprung coils and a memory foam topper built in. I can honestly say it is the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on! So much so that I bought the exact same one for all spare rooms in my house, one for my mum and then one for my grandma! So that combination works perfectly!

I’ve been asked about this bedding frequently, it’s called the Catherine Lansfield Gatsby and you can find it here:

The crushed velvet cushions in grey are from Next and can be found here:

The sequin glittery cushions in silver can be found here (the eBay seller is out of stock in grey at the moment but the same are on Amazon):

The front cushion matches the bedding set and can be found here:

Separately these cushions don’t look like much but put them all together and I think they look fab!
The mirror is the gleam mirror from Next. I actually found this for a bargain price at Choice discount store (Next outlet) but it is still on the Next website too:

The chair next to my bed is from a great website called Lakeland Furniture for a bargain price – check out all of their lovely chairs!

And of course another of those glitter cushions on here!
The pyramid table lamp is from Next but unfortunately there is no link for this one as it was in the last sale!
The frame is from Matalan and so sparkly! They only have the other version with small beads around the edge (which I have in my lounge) online but I have seen this one in a store recently too.

The candle is actually a tiny DIY project. The silver outside is from Next but comes with a black candle inside. I decided I wanted it white not black, so Mr Rackley slid a flat screwdriver under the black candle, popped it out and we replaced it with this white one from the range!

The Range candle is not currently online but was a white 3 wick large one.
The curtains are faux silk in silver and can be found here:

We also have two versions of blinds on our window. The front roman blind is for during the week as it still lets a bit of light in and we find it easier to get up for work. The rolled up blind at the back is for almost total blackout at the weekends for lie in’s and sticks to the edges with velcro!

We hold that up during the week with these magnetic tiebacks! The exact one in the photo isn’t there anymore but this one is similar:

The crackle tealight holders on the windowsill are from Next:

The light fitting in here is from Dunelm and is currently on sale! This was originally in our lounge but got relocated when we got the beauty from Next!

This little corner contains a pin up photo frame of photos of our favourite holiday destination – Excellence Playa Mujeres (Mexico), a custom made sign from our wedding day (which I added every single one of the crystals to by hand!), our wedding cake topper and this brilliant box to store it in! I placed a piece of glitter card between the box and base to make it sparkly!
The cake topper was custom made to fit our exact outfits and descriptions by a very talented lady, you can find her business on Facebook if you search for Shantel’s Cake Toppers.

The bedside tables, matching drawers and matching built in wardrobe were here when we moved in, so no idea where they were from. But I did add sparkle handles to these later!

The wallpaper was also there when we moved in – it was a grey/blue circle textured wallpaper. But we painted over it with Dulux Metallic paint in sophistication. This paint will make any wall shiny/metallic! Very likely to change this to a damask pattern soon though, as I’m in love with the one in my lounge but in grey!
More home tour to come soon!
